Belle's Labrador Retrievers began when Anita purchased her first Lab, Honey -  Belisle's Miel, C.D., J.H. (pointed).  She earned her Junior Hunter title at age seven, after John had joined the team.  Honey produced two champions:  Maggie - Ch. Belle's Touch Of Magic, J.H.; and Kelly - Ch. Belle's Sign Of Distinction, J.H.  Both show champions with Hunt Test titles.  Also in these litters were other Labs that earned Hunt Test titles, earned Obedience titles, became drug detection dogs, and became a Guiding Eyes brood bitch.  Belle's Labradors was achieving the goal of breeding multi-purpose Labrador Retrievers.

What is a multi-purpose Labrador Retriever?  In short, a multi-purpose Lab is willing to do whatever you want it to do.  Whether the job is picking up ducks in the icy waters of a frozen pond, flawlessly performing almost one hundred different commands as a companion for the handicapped, playing with the kids for hours, or laying quietly on the floor at your feet while you work, the true multi-purpose Lab does it all exceedingly well.  And the wonderful dog described here is the dog we strive to breed.  Belle's Labradors is the home of or has bred 7 show champions and numerous Hunt Test titled and Obedience titled Labs.  Tad, Ch.
